want all the tricks and fancy graphics - like the big corporations. Can you do that?"
I can do that, but I rarely recommend
it. I use FX sparingly so they are most effective. They only make
your site more expensive, less accessible and you don't want your content to get
lost.
I like the use of sound or video on
a website if it is justified. Even FLASH animation is effective
when used properly. There are rules suggesting the use of
multi-media online. (Just ask me what I think of FRAMES!)
But it is all up for discussion. There
are still a myriad of possibilities to explore.
